Davide “Dave “Sponza, who was born and raised in Italy, founded an association called Houstoliani (Italiani a Houston) in 2018. His idea was to gather all of the Italians residing in Houston to build a network where they could all feel a little more “at home “. Houstoliani isn’t just for Italians, but anyone who has a real interest in discovering modern Italian culture, not just the same old stereotypes. Houstoliani found its official voice doing Radio Contatto every Wednesday  from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM central time (19:00-20:00 Italy time). Dave and Fabio Raschella interview mostly American and Italian musicians. However, they also interview people who are active in the Houston community, that Dave has crossed paths with. Interviews are in English or Italian depending on the guest
